The Bomb Project
page

The Bomb Project is a comprehensive on-line compendium of nuclear-related links, imagery and documentation. It is intended specifically as a resource for artists who require historical background as well as raw material. Gathered here are links to nuclear image archives (still and moving), historical documents, current news, NGOs and activist organizations as well as government labs and arms treaties. It makes accessible the declassified files and graphic documentation produced by the nuclear industry itself, providing a context for comparative study, analysis and creativity. Since its inception in 2000, The Bomb Project has provided useful resources to many artists, including Paul Shambroom and Michael Light. It has been included in the World of Art series title, Internet Art, by Rachel Greene (Thames & Hudson 2004). The Bomb Project, conceived and edited by Joy Garnett, was originally launched Spring 2000.
