רשף: מלכודת הפתאים
במהותה, מערכת אינטראקטיבית היא סוג של
משחק מסוכן. אינטראקטיביות (הדדיות) מניחה שימוש באנרגיה של המשתתף כדי לממש
מערכת קריאה-תגובה. מערכת יחסים זו היא על גבול הניצול: המשתמש, הקורבן, מוצב
ע"י השולט במצב סיפי, מנושל מבטחון איזו איכות תגובה תגרור פעולתו במרחב
הנתון. מערכת הדדית, בקונטקסט האומנותי, לעולם לא תתדרדר למצב של סכנת נפשות,
מה גם שהמשתמש\צופה מבטל את אותה סכנה על סמך כוונותיו הטובות (לכאורה) של
היוצר\אמן\צופה. התרומה של הקורבן למפלתו הינה נדבך קדמוני של אומנות המלחמה
והינה בשימוש נפוץ במיוחד כחלק מלוחמת הגרילה. זו היא גם תמציתה של המלכודת
הפתאים (booby-trap). ברם, שימוש זה
באנרגיה\מוטיבציה של האחר יכול לשמש גם לניווט וחקירה של המערכת. שיחה קצרה
וסדנה בה נחקור דרכים שונות להרחיב אפשריות תקשורת ומגע ע"י שימוש בשניתן
למצוא בכל אופיס דיפו ובכל גוף אנושי (רגישות, מוליכות, תנועה).

צילה חסין: האינטרנט מי מפחד מכל כך הרבה מידע?
בהרצאה זו, תציג צילה חסין שלושיצירות הבוחנות
כמה מהסוגיות המרכזיות הנוגעות לחיינו ביקום המרושת. יצירות אלו מצביעות על אופני התמודדות ביקורתית עם החומר הנראה של האינטרנט, ומנסות לפתוח צו הראל מחשכיו.
שלוש היצירות מבטאות את גישתה הייחודית של האמנית לדרכים שבהן ניתן
לנצל את הרשת, ולנצלה לרעה.
צילה חסין היא אמנית/מעצבת תקשורת שיצירותיה עוסקות בהשפעת
טכנולוגיית התקשורת על התרבות וחיי
היומיום. באחרונה, היא קיבלה תואר
אם-אף-אי מתוכנית
עיצוב התקשורת של מכון פיט צווארט וכיום היא עמיתת מחקר במחלקת העיצוב של אקדמיית יאן ואן אייק.

תוך הדגשת הבטים פואטיים או אסתטיים החושפים אפשרויות אחרות
של הבלוג כפלטפורמה ליצירת אמנות. העבודות הן בלוג-ספציפיות
ונבחרו מתוך הקול קורא לעבודות שהעלנו בפורמט בלוג במיוחד לרגל הפרויקט.

Mousetrap
Ultimately, we experience every interactive system as a risky game.
Interactivity always implies the use of energy to initiate and manifest a
relationship of call and response. This relationship is bordering on the
abusive: the user, the victim, is put by the abuser in an uncertain
situation, never fully sure what kind of reactions his actions will yield.
Interactive systems never outrun the dangerous, but the danger is
downplayed by the user basic trust in the benign intentions of the abuser.
The contribution of the victim to his own downfall has been part of warfare
from the very beginning and is widely used in guerrilla tactics. It is the
very essence of The Booby-trap. But this use of other's energy and
motivation can also be applied for navigation and exploration of the
system.

Tsila Hassine: The Internet:
Who's afraid of too much information?
In this talk, Tsila Hassine will present three works that tackle
some of the crucial issues involved
in living in the networked galaxy. These works suggest ways of critically
engaging with the Internet's visible matter, and attempt to reveal its dark
matter.
Through Shmoogle (www.shmoogle.org), Ctrl-F Reader (www.ctrl-f.org) and the
Historiography Tracer (www.Geuzen.org/tracer), Tsila conveys her unique
approach to the ways the Net can be used and abused.
Tsila Hassine is a media artist/designer whose works deal with the effects
of media technology on our culture and daily life. She has recently earned
an MFA degree from the Piet Zwart Institute's Media Design program, and
currently holds a research residency at the design department of the Jan
Van Eyck Academie

Blog, one of the most spread forms of expression on the web, varying
from personal diaries to community weblogs, professional knowledge exchange
resources, political campaigns and more. In their different manifestations,
blogs (moblogs, videoblogs, photoblogs, etc.), became a phenomenon influencing
in many cases upon social and cultural areas: journalism, politics,
alternative knowledge sources, literature, art, etc.
The ¿blog? project takes blog as art and as a stage for net artworks
investigating the language, the aesthetics, the impacts and the practices
of blogs, blogging and the blogoesphere.
