Einstein exhibition
Last year I sculpted stones in clay.
The literal translation of the name Einstein from German to English is “one stone”. According to Einstein’s theory, mass (stone) is a form of energy. The volume of the stone is salient against the background exhibition which tends to be two dimensional. The stone also relates to the land where the science museum is located – it is built from clay that I dug from the same hill.
