Frottage in the Offices of the Ministry of Agriculture

A series of frottages (rubbings) are taken from the site, randomly recording the layers of history - from 19th century Russian buildings through British mandate army camp to 50's government offices. These are hung in the agriculture offices.
A larger rubbing, taken from the top of an eucalyptus stump, becomes a map of an unknown territory, and is hung alongside the existing maps, with its own color-coded system of pins.
