Wounds!photography Language Support The work "Wounds!" is a photographic documentation of the International Anglican School in Jerusalem, from the universal contexts of wounds and illness. The photographic documentation derives from a holistic and social viewpoint that sees the whole of the creation as one continuous texture, a viewpoint that sees everything as part of the whole. From that viewpoint a seraph of a pine tree, a broken step, a wounded cat, a broken bench or a crying kid, can be seen as part of the same creation that needs the attendance of a "hospital" to heal. This view point extends the boundaries of the concept "hospital" and includes within it both the social reality and nature reality, and points on their symbiotic relationship. |
